I was really pleased with the work, and prices were reasonable. Admin communication could have been better: office did not relay important information to the technician, and office gave me 5 minute notice for the technician’s arrival instead of 30 as promised. The technician was great — very thorough and gave clear explanations.

Reasonable quote for replacing water heater and very clean work. They also arranged for city inspection and approval. Highly recommend!

David was great. He came out to my house soon after I called and diagnosed the problem. He thoroughly explained how the water heater worked, and what was wrong, and he gave me several options to fix or replace the existing unit. I decided to replace the water heater and within a few hours I had hot water again.

My Noritz water heater went out one day (it's at least 15 years old) and by the next day I had a new one installed. Customer service was not only prompt, but clearly explained my options--repair or replace. The part I needed for repair was no longer in stock but the technician gave me the option to find it myself and he would come back, or for only a bit more money, I could replace the unit. So I went with a replacement, which is smaller and more efficient. I got a loyalty discount, as well as $50 off for paying by check. I'm very happy with new unit, as well as the service provided by Payless Water Heaters.
