David was very knowledgeable about the information he provided and explained to me in specific outcomes. David did not pressure me with a selling or buying pitch which I appreciated. He acknowledged that it was my decision to move forward and I agreed with him. I declined to do anything at this time and determine at a later date how or if it needs to be replaced. Payless is my place to call for immediate service. THANKS.

Juan (JC) was the technician who serviced our water heater and he was fantastic. He was polite and arrived during the promised 2 hr window. Scheduling was easy through the online portal and I was surprised they had availability on a Sunday. After trying to relight the pilot light, he gave us a diagnostic and laid out two different paths for repair and was up front with the costs and timeline. We had the thermostat unit replaced with an OEM unit. Despite the high heat this weekend, JC finished the repair and left our water heater in a much cleaner state than when he arrived. He was clear in his explanation of the issue and did not try to oversell us. There were no hidden fees or charges on this service. I highly recommend using the team at Payless Water Heaters as they specialize in repair and installation. JC even checked if our unit was still under warranty, it was not as it was about 10 years old now. In the future if we need to replace our whole unit, we will definitely reach out to JC and the Payless team.

Ezekiel was super helpful and even got on the phone with the manufacturer and somehow got them to cover the parts I needed for my water heater even though the warranty was months past. He didn’t have to do that but he took the time to, and for that I am really thankful. Saved me $490!

Good experience! I had an emergency water heater leakage because my filter was old! I called multiple plumbing companies nearby and they are the fastest to get to me! Antonio was able to answer my questions and get it fixed in 1 hour, which is impressive! It is a bit pricey to change water filter but I am glad the work is done flawlessly!

Joey O was one of the best service men in any category in the world that I’ve ever had. I’m not even exaggerating. He was nothing short but 100 out of 100. Nothing short of 10 out of 10 I think I love the guy. As a matter of fact, I do love him. He’s like Family now I appreciate it thank you so much.

Our conventional water heater broke down and had a tankless unit installed by Antonio from Payless Water Heaters. I found Antonio to be very courteous, respectful of the space he worked in, professional, and knowledgeable. He cleaned up and put everything back in place after the install. Afterwards, he helped me apply for the rebate before he left. I would recommend Payless and especially Antonio without reservation.

Types of Water Heaters We Handle

The leadership team at Payless is fully committed to providing industry-leading installations and water heater repair Del Mar home and business owners trust. To expedite repairs, replacements and new installations, we have invested in the latest tools, technology and trained specialists who routinely handle the following water heater types:

Tankless Water Heaters

A tankless water heater installation in Del Mar offers home and business owners a reliable and energy-efficient resource that won’t fall short. Tankless models are ranked among the most efficient water heaters on the market today.

Unlike traditional water heaters that store and constantly heat 40 or more gallons of water, these do not expend energy to maintain a limited hot water supply. Instead, they heat water on demand, ensuring even large families never end up standing in a cold shower.

When you turn on a faucet or washing machine, the unit powers up and delivers as much as you need. At Payless, we offer tankless water heater repair and replacement, and new installation services.

Gas Water Heaters

Gas water heaters are fueled by liquid propane and the readily available natural gas in Del Mar, CA. Both of these resources are touted as highly energy efficient and environmentally sustainable. These are important considerations when deciding which type of water heater best suits your individual needs and those of California’s environment.

That being said, gas water heaters come in both tankless and traditional designs. They are ideal for commercial settings as well as residential use. If you have an existing fuel line, most models run on natural gas or liquid propane. Just contact one of our customer service professionals about gas water heater installation services.

Electric Water Heaters

Although electric water heaters are not necessarily as energy-efficient as some other types, they are still widely used. These models typically employ high-voltage rods and elements to generate hot water. Temperatures are controlled by a thermostat, and they can be ideal for in-law apartments, rental units and businesses with minimal to moderate hot water needs. Traditional models that include a tank are commonly used to provide hot water to working families without natural gas or liquid propane.

Solar Water Heaters

Southern California communities enjoy upwards of 300 sunny days annually, which makes solar water heaters a cost-effective and sustainable opportunity. At Payless, we can perform a solar water heater installation Del Mar homeowners will be proud to own. By harnessing the power of the sun, you will be doing your part for the environment by lowering your carbon footprint.

Although leveraging a renewable energy resource sometimes involves higher upfront water heater installation costs, property owners see their utility bills decline. You can anticipate saving a significant amount of money over the water heater’s life, making it an excellent investment.

Commercial Water Heaters

Commercial water heaters are ideal solutions for companies with substantial demands. Businesses such as car washes, laundromats, restaurants and manufacturing plants, among others, require a large volume of hot water to be readily available. We recommend speaking with a customer service representative to schedule a consultation to determine your hot water ceiling and the right model and brand to get the job done.

Traditional Water Heaters

Unlike a tankless “on-demand” heating system, traditional models maintain a substantial water supply. The large tank holds anywhere from 25 to 60 gallons for residential use. Traditional water heaters operated in commercial settings can heat far more to meet demand. Although these designs are not considered as energy-efficient as their tankless counterparts, the right size tank and fuel source make them viable options for growing families and small businesses in Del Mar, CA.

Water Heater Installation in Del Mar

At Payless, we also carry reliable brands renowned for their energy efficiency and ability to deliver consistently hot water. When replacing or installing a heater in Del Mar, we recommend products manufactured by Rheem, Noritz and Bradford White, among other select brands.
