David was very knowledgeable about the information he provided and explained to me in specific outcomes. David did not pressure me with a selling or buying pitch which I appreciated. He acknowledged that it was my decision to move forward and I agreed with him. I declined to do anything at this time and determine at a later date how or if it needs to be replaced. Juan (JC) was the technician who serviced our water heater and he was fantastic. He was polite and arrived during the promised 2 hr window. Scheduling was easy through the online portal and I was surprised they had availability on a Sunday. After trying to relight the pilot light, he gave us a diagnostic and laid out two different paths for repair and was up front with the costs and timeline. We had the thermostat unit replaced with an OEM unit. Despite the high heat this weekend, JC finished the repair and left our water heater in a much cleaner state than when he arrived. He was clear in his explanation of the issue and did not try to oversell us. There were no hidden fees or charges on this service. I highly recommend using the team at Payless Water Heaters as they specialize in repair and installation. JC even checked if our unit was still under warranty, it was not as it was about 10 years old now. In the future if we need to replace our whole unit, we will definitely reach out to JC and the Payless team.

Ezekiel was super helpful and even got on the phone with the manufacturer and somehow got them to cover the parts I needed for my water heater even though the warranty was months past. He didn’t have to do that but he took the time to, and for that I am really thankful. Saved me $490!

Good experience! I had an emergency water heater leakage because my filter was old! I called multiple plumbing companies nearby and they are the fastest to get to me! Antonio was able to answer my questions and get it fixed in 1 hour, which is impressive! It is a bit pricey to change water filter but I am glad the work is done flawlessly!

Our conventional water heater broke down and had a tankless unit installed by Antonio from Payless Water Heaters. I found Antonio to be very courteous, respectful of the space he worked in, professional, and knowledgeable. He cleaned up and put everything back in place after the install. Afterwards, he helped me apply for the rebate before he left. I would recommend Payless and especially Antonio without reservation.
